Luke is Nanjing's little monkey. He is always looking for something to climb, and especially loves time on the playground where he can explore and climb on the equipment. He has a special bond with his nanny and he loves when she cuddles him! He especially loves jumping on the trampoline and playing with a big ball that he can push around the classroom.
Luke was born without eyes and is completely blind. He was in bad condition when he first arrived in our classroom in Nanjing. Over time he has grown much stronger, learned how to walk with assistance and now plays nicely with others. He loves being bounced on the trampoline or jumping on a large yoga ball (while his nanny holds him). He also adores being tickled and has a December 2013 birthday.
Bethel firmly believes love is the heart of a family, which is why we continue to carry out our mission based on trust in a family unit. While Bethel itself is not an adoption agency, we are committed in advocating for the adoption of all our children in the hopes that their families find them sooner.
More than 150 Bethel children have been adopted into loving homes throughout Bethel’s 15-year history.
