William was born in October, 2013 with a cleft palate. His cleft palate has been repaired and he is very smart and observant. He was very shy and nervous when he first came into Bethel's care. He also could not eat solid foods and had no form of communication. William can now eat solid foods and has come out of his shell through the devotion and love of his teachers and nannies. We have been teaching him sign language to give him a means of communication.
He loves when they cuddle him and has the sweetest laugh when they tickle him. William is always watching and keeping track of what everyone is doing around him. He is very smart and learns quickly. He is a great little helper, often helping guide the other children or helping to clean up. William loves riding a rocking horse and playing in the sand box outside. William loves Wednesdays when his teachers take him on a field trip! His favorite is visiting the market where he explores the bins of toys.
Bethel firmly believes love is the heart of a family, which is why we continue to carry out our mission based on trust in a family unit. While Bethel itself is not an adoption agency, we are committed in advocating for the adoption of all our children in the hopes that their families find them sooner.
More than 150 Bethel children have been adopted into loving homes throughout Bethel’s 15-year history.
